NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Placer County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will hold a Public Hearing in-person and remotely on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 to consider the following item:

LAFCO Project No. 2024-04 Placer County Cemetery Districts Municipal Service Review and Sphere of Influence Update: The Commission will consider adoption of the MSR and SOI update for the Auburn Cemetery District, Colfax Cemetery District, Newcastle, Rocklin, and Gold Hill Cemetery District, Placer County Cemetery District #1, Roseville Cemetery District, and Tahoe City Cemetery District. The Commission will also receive open the item for public comment. CEQA Lead Agency: LAFCO, Class 6 Categorical Exemption, Cal. Pub. Resources Code, § 21083; Cal. Code Regs., tit. 14, § 15306.

The hearing will be held in person and remotely.
