PETITION RECEIPT AND VALIDATION DOCUMENTS
On December 2, 2025, proponents submitted a petition with 3,253 signatures. Following verification by the Placer County Registrar of Voters, Placer LAFCO issued a Certificate of Sufficiency on January 6, 2026.
- Requirement: State law requires signatures from at least 25% of the area's 8,572 registered voters (2,143 signatures).
- Result: The petition was deemed sufficient with a projected total of 2,427 valid signatures.
