Notice of Public Hearing April 8 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that that the Placer County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will hold a Public Hearing in person and remotely to consider the following items:
1. Proposed Revisions to the LAFCO Policy Manual: The Commission will consider amendments to the recently adopted Policy Manual to ensure continued alignment with Placer County administrative standards. The policies under consideration are 2.3, 2.6, 2.7, and 2.8.
2. LAFCO Proposed Work Plan and Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. The Commission will review and consider the adoption of the Proposed Draft Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. This hearing serves as the initial public review of the agency’s projected revenues and expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year.
3. Fee Schedule Update: The Commission will consider updating LAFCO staff hourly rates in the Fee Schedule (Policy 1.13 Attachment A).

All interested persons are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing either in-person or remotely.
The proposed Draft Budget, revised Policy Manual sections, and the full meeting agenda with instructions for remote attendance will be available at least 3 days before the meeting at www.placerlafcoca.gov .
