The Placer County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) has released the Public Review Draft of the Placer County Cemetery Districts Municipal Service Review (MSR) and Sphere of Influence (SOI) Update (LAFCO Project No. 2024-04).

During its meeting on June 10, 2026, the Commission opened a 45-day public comment period to receive feedback on this draft. The study provides an independent assessment of the county's six public cemetery districts and their spheres of influence.

How to Submit Comments

Public and agency comments are highly encouraged. Please review the document and submit your written comments to Placer LAFCO by July 27, 2026. Comments can be emailed directly to LAFCO@placer.ca.gov.
