Placer LAFCO is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Fried as its new Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2026. Following the successful conclusion of contract negotiations, the Commission selected Mr. Fried to lead the agency into its next chapter.

Mr. Fried brings more than 15 years of LAFCO leadership experience, having previously served as the Executive Officer for both Marin and San Francisco LAFCOs. The Commission extends its sincere thanks to Interim Executive Officer Colette Santsche and the staff for their dedicated service during this transition.
